Medical Transport for seniors
 

Just want to let folks know about a sumter county transit program which will provide transportation for medical visits to the VA clinic on 42 on tues and thurs and for shopping on mon and wed. not sure about regular doctor appts but i think they do that, too...for information call 352-568-6683 other counties probably have something, too. worth passing along for those who need this assistance.

For veterans, the DAV offers FREE round trip van service daily (Mon - Fri) from The Villages to the VA Hospital in Gainesville. Call 352-674-5099 to schedule a seat on their van.
