How much should insulation blown into the space above my lanai cost???

Looking to have insulation blown into the space above my 10x15 lanai. I have been quoted $250 for R30 CertainTeed. Do you think this is a reasonable price???

I think this is a link that would serve the O.P. the best. It's from the same web site as the other posted link but this one is for estimating costs for blowing insulation into an attic space versus into a wall space, according to the descriptions:

Cost to Install Blown-In Attic Insulation - 2013 Cost Calculator (ZipCode based)

Thanks Bill-n-Brillo

We had insulation blown into the space over our lanai after having a mini-split system installed. Approximately 300 sq ft.

The company we used had a minimum charge (I think around $275) and I am sure other companies have that too.

So at the same time they "refreshed" the insulation all through the attic space - although not over the garage.

The result has been that even though we use the lanai air conditioning almost every day the electric cost has dropped slightly. We compared June thru December 2011 (no lanai a/c) to June thru December 2012 (after a/c install).

My neighbor just had his Lanai on his CYV enclosed in glass by CVS. He had insulation blown into the ceiling of is 8X14 area. They had to cut a hole in the drywall ceiling to reach the area and then repair the ceiling. He was charged $300.

I've been thinking about doing my lanai. It's 12x14 and $250.00 doesn't sound bad. Could you let me know who gave you your quote? Thank you
