Laptop Computer Needed
 
I need a laptop computer running Windows XP to take around with me for note taking on various projects I am following. I transfer each day's work to my desktop PC when I arrive home, so I don't need a laptop with all those bells and whistles (and high prices) to do what I need to do.

If anyone has a good running used laptop that is just lying around in the way, and would like to get rid of it, I would be interested in hearing from you. Please PM me.

Laptops are really not that expensive, you can get a really good one with quite a few bells and whistles for under $300

Agreed.. however, as you will find out, all new pc's come with Windows 8.. depending on how you feel about that would effect your decision.
