Medicare plus blue group PPP.

This is a Medicare Advantage Plan for Michigan Retirees and it's not accepted by the new villages UCF offices. Colony rejected me even though its Blue Cross since they would bill Blue Cross even though Medicare is primary. They told me months ago they were working it out but it's not happening. Does anyone have any updates?

I was told they only take United and Preferred care Partners , unless you have a Medicare Supplement not an Advantage plan

I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield and because they code by medicare standards rather than Blue Cross my provider will not cover my physical. Villages Health said it turned into an office visit rather then the physical I requested when she renewed my prescriptions and went over my blood work. I have never heard such craziness in my life. Thought they had negotiated my coverage with Blue Cross since I am not yet eligible for medicare. I think what is happening as long as you are medicare United or PCP you will be fine with the billing 'cause they will basically pay anything they are billed for. Is it any wonder medicare is in so much trouble???

Accepted Insurance by The Villages Health

This site will give you a list of insurance companies they accept at this time.

Keep in mind that many companies (including most BC/BS plans) have preferred provider networks. For most BC/BS plans, those networks are *only* inside the state where the plan is located. As the result, they pay a smaller percentage and often have stricter pre-auth procedures.

Note that not all BC/BS plans are like that The FEHBP non-HMO plans are generally national. My BC/BS works here just as well as in NC and WV.
