Charger does not charge my 48v Club Car Golf Cart
 

My charger will not "turn on" when plugged into my golf cart. I recently installed new batteries, and golf cart works fine. The problem is it will not charge. I had the charger checked out and was told that it is functioning correctly. I also know the batteries are fully charged. Any ideas on what is wrong with my golf cart? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There is a safety relay in the charger that has to see a minimal voltage from your cart. The relay prevents current thru the transformer until it is hooked up to a battery pack. Check to see if the small 3rd wire on the rear of the cart connector is broken between the receptacle and the controller (on the cart). There is also a fuse there. It has no effect on the cart until you go to charge it.
