Need Good Dentist who takes Aetna Ins.
 

I have Aetna through the Federal plan and have a hard time finding a dentist in the area. There are a few around but their offices don't look so great and a couple have been listed here as to who not go to. Anyone have a good Aetna dentist?

I have aetna also and could not find a dentist I wanted to use under the Aetna, I go to Serenity Dental Spa in Spanish Springs. I pay for my services up front and they handle all the paper work with Aetna. Within less than 2 weeks. I usually have a check from aetna for the 80% that is covered. Great dentist, super nice and clean office and no hassle paper work with insurance.

That's strange as we have the same Aetna plan and Serenity files for us and is paid directly by Aetna!

Dr. Majid Heydari at Aesthetic Dental accepts Aetna. We have a PPO and set an appt. for hubby to be seen in the near future. Had favorable comments from others on TOTV's in the past. He is suppose to be the type that will not push unnecessary dental work on you. They are across 466A from Colony Plaza, right by where the Parada office is located. Their # is

I still haven't found a periodontist anywhere near The Villages who accepts Aetna. If you know of any, please post that as well.

Do you also have Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal? I had Aesthetic Dentistry in Colony tell me they accept Aetna but they called Aetna and they said since I have BC/BS (that has minimal dental benefits) that Aetna says they have to bill Aetna as secondary and they don't accept BC/BS. I looked around for BC/BS dentists and there are a couple in upper Leesburg and that's it.
