How long does it take to OFFICIALLY become a FROG! Thanks!

Probably when you decide that this is the place that you will live until you croak.

OK - I've moved to TV and I love but I HATE being called a frog. Reality bites I guess !

It is said that the definition of a frog is one who decides to stay until they croak.

Suppose you are one who decides to stay and refuses to croak. Then what do you label that resident? A________________ Please fill in the blank:D

LOL. I guess you could call me a person who takes one day at a time and hopes there are more days left to play. I just find the "frog" concept very depressing. We all die - some sooner and some later - but why build a life here based on the inevitable.

I think of it in a more positive light. We have found the most WONDERFUL place to live and don't plan on ever moving. Frogs plan on enjoying The Villages every day for the rest of their lives. People become frogs at all different ages.

Newcomer---you become a frog when you get your a-s out of virginia & get down here with the other retirees. Don't forget to bring my sister with you.

When you're too old and too sick to even think about moving and you feel a croak coming on, then, and only then, will you get your OFFICIAL frog-croak-badge. For some it doesn't take long and for others it may take a few decades. However, you can speed things up by eating out more, gaining more weight and watching more television. :wine:....:loco:....:jester:
