Take care of your divots Lazy
 

I have been on a number of courses where there are multiple divots on the green where people are too lazy to bend down. Be considerate and take care of them so we all can continue to enjoy.

It's been a while, but when I worked and played on courses in Florida many years ago, we were told to not replace our divots because Bermuda grass would not reroot itself. Instead, the general rule was to fill in the divots with sand and the grass would grow back within a few days.

That' correct about the divots, but I think the OP may have been talking about ball marks. There are lots of both that go unrepaired.

On the few occasions when I hit a green, I always fix my ball mark and any other ball mark I see. And yet, some greens look like they've been in a war zone.

Snowbirds have left..Can't blame them now can we.

When I played, I always made it a point to go to my ball mark before going to me ball. That is absolutely the first thing to do upon reaching the green.

I'm sorry. I know this is a serious subject and we're way off topic. :police:
