Stop running scripts
In the past couple of weeks I am having a problem with Internet Explorer. What happens is that when a go to certain websites my pc freezes for a couple of minutes and then I get a message which gives me the option to either stop running the script or run it. I select stop running and am then able to access the website. What is interesting is that when I go to the same website with firefox I don't get that message.
I have not changed anything in the past with IE. In the options I have checked "disable script debugging" but that hasn't helped. I just did a reset to see if that works. John ps: I just did a reset and went to a site that was giving me script errors. No errors after the reset. However, there was some hesitation when I went to browse messages. |
I don't "understand" what you are talking about, but just today, for the first time, I got the message pop up about the website running script.......etc. I clicked on the don't run option, and was able to continue on with what I was doing. A minute or two later, it popped up again......then again...everytime I clicked on a new page on the site. Over my head....and annoying!!

Not sure yet what is happening but if I find out anything I will let you know ! |
Same here... I'll stay tuned in the hopes that an ole geek can explain it, lol. Thanks.

Maybe this will help, if not just Google the script message.
