great jazz venue!
 

just discovered the new venue at the Carriage House Museum which has a small bar and cozy tables to listen to great jazz. for summer will be only sat nights but later will be fri and sat....last night heard valerie gillespie accompanied by fantastic keyboard and drums (profs at USF) for a very mellow and enjoyable evening...they will return aug 31. i am not even a jazz lover but i enjoyed it.... warning: the food is not very good but i heard the lasagna was and the antipasto sounded ok....

Great news...........where is the Carriage House located?

you will have to google a map as i am hopeless with that area...i know you take griffin road behind the home depot, turn right. the club is called grand oaks and has a big beatiful wrought iron gate with G O on it. lovely horse country. the carriage house is also a great place to visit, wonderful collection of international carriages.

It is located on Marion County Road in Weirsdale. I love Weirsdale. There are so many cool places to visit and things to do and see.

Enjoyed Grand Oaks Resort this evening. Heard Joe Hand sing and play guitar. The dinner menu is excellent tasting. Will definitely go back and enjoy Joe on January 25, 2014.
