Google Chromecast

.
Are any of you good people using the Google Chromecast to get your viewing content?

My DirecTV contract is coming to an end and, since I don't watch a lot of TV, I was wondering if I should ditch satellite/cable and just rely on what's available over the internet

Yours views and opinions would be very welcome

Thank you
.

and, talking of DirecTV, I loved their flyer in today's Daily Sun

For a certain price you can have "over 205 channels"

Would that be 206 channels?

Why not just say "over 200 channels"?

They must be getting desperate :-)

Just ordered a Chromecast dongle yesterday. Should be here Monday or Tuesday. Amazon and Best Buy are sold out. Not sure if Google play has them. Or you can go to eBay and pay two or three times their retail price.

Thanks, RHOOD - I should be interested in hearing how it works out for you

I currently have a computer connected to my TV to watch stuff from the internet, so I'm not sure what Chromecast would give me that I don't already have.
