Worm Type IN Myrtle Tree

Recently, I have been finding small tiny worms in the pods after the blossoms are done? They turn blackish, and when you sift them apart, a little worm crawls out. Does anyone know what to do for that? Thankyou

Sweetie gave some fertilizer to our crepe myrtles last week and now they have yellow leaves and they are falling off. Should I yell at him?

Little black worms

Not to hijack this thread but since we are talking about worms, does anyone know what's up with the little black worms crawling around? They are about an inch in length and I have them on my lanai and I see them all over when I'm walking. Are they from trees or just out there? Can we do anything to keep them away?

I think they might be UFO's.;)
