Want a really trerrible dinning experience, try Rita's in Wildwood. Service, very slow, food, under cooked, we will not be going back again.

Ouch!

sorry to hear that. WWD needs our business, but earning it has to happen.

My husband and I have been to Rita's a couple of times for their 30 oyster bucket special and also the lobster and shrimp special, and it was very good...the oysters were huge and the food was cooked well. Not sure what you ate or ordered, but it does take some time to cook seafood to order, so you should just relax and enjoy a brewsky while you wait. We like Rita's

All restaurants have a bad day once in awhile. Don't blast it on your first time. We have been to Rita's a number of time with a group and all was good. It's a small family owned facility, give them a break.

Typical restaurant post.
Some like it.
Some don't.
Best advice..............go try it for yourself!

We usually go to the sister (or brother) place Magnolia's in Leesburg.....bare bones, no ambiance, but the oysters $15.00 for 30 are great, and hubby says so is the beer. Haven't tried Rita's yet, but friends were there and liked it and the price very much.

So are the blue claw crabs and clams:BigApplause:

Are these raw oysters or cooked? I like raw oysters on the half shell. Thanks

For what it is worth, during a recent visit, my oysters were of good size but rather bland - like they had been out of the water a little too long.

The clam chowder was just excellent.

I'd go back but slightly prefer Aw Shucks.

Went to Rita's last night. Bucket of clams $10.00 pint of Bud Light $2.50 what a deal. Will be going back. They have an add in the Daily Sun to see their specials.
