lawn and pest control recommendations
 

Hi, Just bought a home in Gilchrist and saw that people recommended you find out what companies are used in the area since they will be there already.Has anybody used Massey? They did the original termite treatment during building through the builder. I was told that after the first year you can continue their service for $105.00 a year.Not sure yet what that covers. They also said they did lawn and pest control. Do most of you do the baiting system in the villages? I had it done in NY when I bought my home many years ago. If anyone has a recommendation for lawn and pest control it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

We live North of 466 and have used Massey for just about everything, in my opinion they are a good company to deal with, and most of my neighbors use them too.

We use Stellar. Very satisfied.

The good thing about Massey is they come out whenever called - the bad thing about Massey is you have to call them frequently. Anyone remember "do it right the first time"???

Massey went up to around $950-$1,000 after several years for the baiting. Friend recommended Dean's Pest Control, and they are $150 yearly....very happy with them.
They had dogs sniff before they would take the contract, Univ. of fla. says it is very reliable for termites.
