Sold our home!
 

Mom and I closed on our beach condo in St. Augustine, Florida this week! What can I say, I love walking on the beach but I love TV more! The sale of our condo makes moving to TV, at least part time, a little closer. Unfortunately, my 89-year-old mother doesn't want to move to TV full time.

Congraulations, Sable! There are always something you will miss about your old place, but keep looking forward.

Congratulations. Once your mother gets here, maybe she'll like it and want to stay.

Mom has been to TV a few times and really likes it. We built a home last year in The Village of Charlotte but we are renting it long term, unfurnished. Mom loves our home but she doesn't want to move to TV because of her many friends and church in Michigan.

Congratulations on the sale of your condo. At the age of 89, I can understand that friends and church would be of paramount importance to your mother. She is lucky to have such a compassionate and loving daughter.

We have the same situation, can't move here fulltime because we can't leave 90 year old mother in michigan either. Hoping she will come down for at least a month this winter and that she likes it here

My mom loves Miami. That's why she lives there and I live here.

Better than any house...anywhere.
