Return with Honor autobiography
Recently Doris Day's husband died, George "Bud" Day. He was a fighter pilot who was shot down in the Korean war I think. I think he was a POW and escaped. I would love to read this book. There is an autobiography titled "Return with Honor", I believe in 1989. I cannot find the book anywhere. On ebay it lists for $200 & Amazon it is high priced as well. Does anyone know where I can find a copy? Sumter library does not have it & said to check back in October after the privitization. Thank you. Nancy

It's one I intend to read.
He was not married to Doris (Kappelhoff) Day, but to Doris Sorensen Day. |

Thanks for the information about the library & also thought he was married to Doris Day the actress so thanks for the correction. I hope someday to be able to read it too. I love autobiographies and especially ones from World War II. Nancy |
While this doesn't help in finding a copy of the book, it does provide information on Col. Day and his distinguished career.

While the autobiography isn't readily available, here's a link to his biography on Amazon.
