Looks very nice.
But palm trees do not have much shade.

Why do Landscapers plant Palm trees, so close to house? Only causes problems with branches touching home during wind storms etc, and giving bugs a step ladder to get onto your home.

You can't put the blame on the landscapers... The homeowners have the ultimate say so on where the trees will be placed. My neighbors WANTED their palms up against the house... its totally their preference.

Approximately how much did this particular landscaping cost? Is it just on the side of the house? Did you reuse the bushes that were there?

Three K to Five K?

Five K to seven K?

Less?

More?

We could not easily ascertain the owners by looking at the picture,...so perhaps you can tell us the price and be unlike the rest of the landscapers who post pretty pictures?

But do the home owners know that when these palms grow they can eventually cause the foundation to crack because of the root growth? We have had several people in our neighborhood cut down their queen palms because it caused their driveway to shift.

Also with the fronds hanging over the house, bugs, rats, snakes, etc. can get on the roof and enter the attic.

And the fronds hanging over the roof can cause water damage to the shingles.

But a good landscaper, might want to give suggestions, why not to place so close to house, or where a better place to place palm. (especially the tall ones) Lots of us are from different states, and we move down here, we want the Florida look, not realizing there could be problems. That's what good Landscapers are for. (I would hope) Anyway, I'm convinced, no tall palms close to house. Otherwise, "Happy Planting"
