Farkle Dice Game
Does anyone in The Villages play farkle (not on computer, the actual dice game)? Learned to play from my aunt in MA but no one I talk to seems to have ever heard of it.

I've played it online but never in person (so to speak)

Used to be one of my favorite bar games. Won lots of money whenever everyone else was drunk (I never drank much). It's also known as shing-a-ro (however it is spelled -- Chinese).

There is a games group @ Sterling Heights every Tuesday 12:30-3:00 that play all kinds of games including FARCKLE.

Haven't played it in years because we didn't have anyone to share the fun with....thanks for the info.

I'd play too with a little refresher.

To all that are interested in playing: what village do you live in? If there is a central rec center with a games day, maybe we could meet where it is convenient for all. I see four folks who are interested. I have the dice, "shaker" and instructions. I will admit, like DianeM, it has been awhile and would need a refresher, but would love to play again. I live in the village of Poinciana. Please respond if interested.

I'm in Gilchrist. Hope we can start something.

I've played online too and would like to join...I live North of all of you in Woodbury (Springdale) going toward Nancy Lopez Golf Course
