Seating at Savannah Center?

I was thinking of buying tickets for a show at the Savannah Center (if I can get them) when we do our LSV. I did a quick search on this forum on the seats and it looks like the seating was uncomfortable in 2008. Did it get any better? Would you recommend going or not so much? I will say I don't like being cramped or claustrophobic situations.

It is what it is. Seats are portable chairs. Not the cushioned reclinable movie theater seats that are more comfortable. I feel, if the show is entertaining you would not notice how cramped in you are. Enjoy the show.

Balcony seats a little more comfortable

Highly recommend you at least see the inside of Savannah Center for a show.
Stay off the floor seating and take anything in balcony (where you can enjoy an arm rest)...the higher the better.
Sound system is very good and so is visual anywhere but on the floor.
Get an end seat if you are uncomfortable in a fairly large crowd.

Ask your sales rep to get you tickets, they can do that .

Hmm I have not hooked up with realty rep yet as visit is not till Oct.

Do you mean the "lifestyle consultant" I booked the visit with?
I asked her if meals, movie tickets or anything were included with visit and sounded like they no longer were. Have people gotten tickets to shows recently that you know of?

We visited in Feb and did receive movie tickets. We booked our own tickets online for a show at the Savannah Center from home. We sat in the balcony and found the seats to be very tight but you could see just fine. The show was fantastic, but I couldn't wait to get out of that seat! The two other people that I was with felt the same way. That being said, it would not stop me from going again.

What did you see? So you paid for the tix yourself...

It sounds pretty uncomfortable to me. I think I will find something else to do.
