Jonas and wife reveal baby's gender.

I just read this as a headline on the web.

Who in the heck are they?

If my life depended on it I could not give you the names of the top best selling musical groups in this country.

Is there hope?

Wasn't he a Bible prophet?

Sounds like one of the Jonas Brothers who were the biggest thing ever for fifteen minutes about five years ago. They were going to be bigger than The Beatles.

Now, "One Direction" is going to be bigger then The Beatles. Don't believe it? Just ask, Harry Styles, one of their singers. He said that he expects to be knighted soon. I'm betting that their one direction will be down.

Kevin Jonas is one of the Jonas Brothers (pop trio of brothers who started on the Disney Channel several years ago).

If I look at the current list of Top 40 songs I only recognize a few of them. If I am in the car with my nieces and they pick the radio station, I often have to ask "who is singing that song?"

And I had never heard the word "twerking" until this past Monday. I guess I don't get out much...

I've only heard of him since I have a 9-year old granddaughter who loves to listen to current youth-oriented pop music. He is part of the group "Jonas Brothers".

And today's young folks who know all about the Jonas Brothers are equally ignorant of the songs from the 50s that you might remember. Doesn't make it bad if that's the intent of this thread..

No hope GG. I heard a hit by Adele the other week and realized I love her music. There is still some good music out there for Wrinklies.

Our parents probably wondered who Elvis was.

I love the phrase too, probably because we all need to be able to laugh as we look in the mirror. Doesn't it seem amazing that we can go from age 35 to age wrinkly practically overnight!

LMAO... GG, did that help you??? It didn't help me at all. No offense, but I'm in the same boat, have no clue who these new bands or singers are, except if their music is played for my dancing pleasure, LOL..
