Village of Mira Mesa

We are going to look at a home in the Village of Mira Mesa on Tuesday. We noticed that it sits close to a sewer treatment plant. How does this impact the Village of Mira Mesa. Is odor a problem?

Thanks for any information you can give me.

I've lived in Mira Mesa for 7 years......... where is this plant?

andercat 08-31-2013 08:16 PM

The plant looks as though it is to the west of Rolling Acres Rd on a road labeled Sunbelt Rd and north of the RV storage area. The house is a little less than 2000 ft from the plant. I'm looking at Google maps. We will drive up from Orlando tomorrow to take a look. If this isn't a treatment plant do you know what it is? I take it "aln" that there is no odor problem from your response.

Thanks for your response. I appreciate it.

our friends in mira mesa have been there for years and drift from a sewer plant has never been a mentioned issue.

We love in Mira Mesa and I don't smell anything. Didn't know there was a treatment plant near us. You will love Mira Mesa.

We have dear friends who live in Mira Mesa and have for seven years and we visit them frequently. I never smelled a thing and my smeller is workin' great. They are very close friends and never mentioned a thing about smells.

I gotta find a map.

There is no Sewer plant in Mera Masa, what you might be seeing is the old wastewater treatment plant built by the town of Lady Lake many years ago, and was sold to the Developer, it never processed one drop of wastewater. I was under the impression it was torn down. Hope that eases your mind, Mera Masa is a lovely section of the Villages, you will enjoy it.

We said the same thing. Made arrangements to stay with my brother until,we found a house. We arrived on a Thursday and bought on Friday. Doesn't take long. You will know as soon as you walk in the door.

Loved Mira Mesa

From this wannabee...I rented in Mira Mesa last year. Loved the house and the location -- mature landscaping and close to Spanish Springs. The Chula Vista pool is nice! And poolside bingo on Thursday mornings. What is not to like? I would buy a home in Mira Mesa in a heartbeat!
