We need to add a handicap bathroom and would like comments you can offer about Advance Construction or any other contractors you have used. Thanks so much for your comments!

We used them, my immediate neighbor used them and they have just completed a huge, and I do mean huge, job four doors down from me. We are all very pleased with the results.

HOWEVER, there are several old threads where others have said they were very unhappy with their work, so do a search and make an educated decision from the threads on here.

I did the search and found nothing about Advanced Construction. The search function leaves a lot to be desired.

If you haven't talked to Fortin Construction you should. Pierre Fortin is not the least cost but he is among the best quality if not the best. Does exactly what is commited on time. His people clean up every day so it looks like nobody was there....unless there is major intervrntion or tie into the existing structure and even the they will have it segregated to keep all areas clean.

When he is done with the job it is impossible to tell where the construction was done.....it all blends so well.

We just used them. They do good work however you will need patience. They overbook so run slow on completing the job. We are happy it's over now.

Go to the BBB site and see if any of the contractors you are thinking of using have any complaints filed against them.

We did a major addition which included a handicap bathroom - the only contractor we would use is EXCEL Construction. Reasonable, honest, and they've been around TV for a long time. Other companies are good, but expensive and require a lot of money up front - Not Excel Construction!
