Amenities Fee
 

I understand that as a homeowner you pay a monthly fee of @ $130, amenities fee. I read in a thread that garbage pickup is included with the fee. What else does the fee cover. I would assume that it is used to run the rec centers also. Slso how do you pay this fee, monthly yearly ? Thanks :)

Trash/garbage pick up is not an amenity. You will pay that with your water bill each month. The fee is for the use of the free facilities and the upkeep. We have lived here 23 months and the fee has increased twice in that time. This fee is far less than you would pay in a condo association but it does not cover any landscaping or anything else, just recreation stuff.

That is what I thought. I could not see how garbage pickup could be part of the amenities fees. Thanks

The amenity fee is tied to the cost of living. So if there is a 4% increase in Social Security you will get a 4% increase on that bill.

In District 3, trash, water and amenities are all on the same bill. Separate charges but on the same bill, paid to VCCDD.
