Love Johnny Rockets

Way back when, TOTV postings trashed Johnny Rockets. It's been about a year since new owners took over. Had my egg salad sandwich and strawberry shakes. Was great. Brought back memories of the 50s with 16 Candles music from the sound system. Talked to one of the partners who came to say hello. I mentioned that they don't have sliders anymore and he said though it's not on the menu, you can still get it. Ask for a trio he said. It's basically a kids menu but we adults can still have it too. Glad to note the owner is keeping an eye on the place. I reviewed the place on Trip Advisor.

way better than it use to be-never had a problem with maybe 6-7 visits over the past year

Glad to hear that - was there for a burger last year and it was greasy, greasy, greasy. Always glad to hear when things improve in TV.

Sorry but an egg salad sandwich and a strawberry shake isn't exactly a good bench mark measure

asianthree 09-07-2013 03:40 PM

not a fan of even the shake

Johnny Rockets just another chain

Beg to differ

The shakes are wonderful (but I prefer chocolate)

So is Ruth Chris and Shula's steakhouses and I have no problem with them because they are a chain.
Johnny Rockets is probably one of the best kept secrets in TV for "breakfast". Great prices and food not to mention setting outside in the morning cool shade watching all the people, carts, etc go by.

Our party of 4 went to Johnny Rockets before going to the movie. The food was great and our waiter was very attentive. The owner came by our table to ask how we liked the food and even provided a free sample of a new item. We enjoyed the waiters & waitresses dancing! Johnny Rockets is a fun place. Can't understand why people give it negative reviews.

I think it is a great place for a burger and fries. The waiters and waitresses are very nice and friendly.

We were there last night and sat outside
Watching the people is a treat
The chicken fingers were a bit toonspicy for my husband's taste; we told the waitress.
But they still will have our business because
1 it is centric
2 fun
3 and w the coupons it makes for a cheap meal out

We have no problems w chains, none.

The new management has vastly improved the experience. They also do a very good breakfast.

This place is not what it may seem, you must have gotten lucky. The management is terrible. (ex-coworker that left because of horrible and degrading management). I would like people to not give them their money or time. Spread the word, They treat their employees terrible and mock customers openly. Very dirty too.
