Tomorrow is Grandparents Day
 

Jimmy Carter put September 8 as Grandparents Day in 1978. Are your grandkids doing anything for you? Sometimes even the parents don't know. Sent e-mail to both grandkids a few weeks ago and finally got answers from their parents yesterday. We are invited for early dinner with their other grandparents. A bit pushy perhaps but hey this happens only once a year. Am hoping we'll get hand drawn cards.

That sounds lovely. Enjoy the day! However, we have never celebrated this occasion on Sept. 8th. We use the traditional Mother's Day and Father's Day holidays instead, and include the family grandparents.
