Got the X!!!#$% avatar size down to 120 x 120, posted on items for sale, a real atta girl for me BUT the classified avatar shows a blank-blank "question mark"!....Have made weeping requests to Moderator, all to no avail....I also changed the avatar to the golf club, shows up fine under new-posts, but when you go to "Items for Sale", the lovely (?) re-appears....Does anyone have a gun for sale....Ugh!!!!!! Help!

contact the moderator. send a pm addressed to moderator. we so underuse those guys they sit around yawning reading our silly posts wishing someone would ask a challenging question like yours.

I've sent many requests to Moderator with NO response, so my question must be a real "yawn"....funny thing, LOTS of people post "Items for Sale" with no problem getting the avatar in the classified section to appear except yours truely!!!...It's very very frustrating!

You are not doing anything wrong, that is how it works. Your avatar looks great, but that has nothing to do with the image that shows up next to the item for sale thread.

The only way I know to get rid of that '?' next to your item for sale thread is to attach a picture to your original post. What you did was add a link to a picture which really resides on photobucket. I much prefer to share photos by linking them to a photo site rather than attach them, but they will not show up in the for sale thread title when we do it that way.

I hope that makes sense.... my lovely wife says I complicate things when I 'splain :blahblahblah:

Your pictures show up in the items for sale, but not in the avatar? Hummmm, wonder if it has to do with how the pictures are uploaded from your computer. When I've sold items on TOTV, I use the paperclip that appears above the composition box to upload pictures. It's next to the smiley face. When I upload using that, and following the steps that are self explanatory, the picture shows up in the avatar of the items for sale.

Come to find out that copying and pasting is not the way to transfer "items for sale" but simply watch the video provided by TOTV and discover that attachments to threads are easily posted by the above "paper-clip" for pics of items for sale....My, My, I've been working on this for at least 3 days, so there is hope for all of us that consider ourselves computer illiterate...:MOJE_whot::MOJE_whot:
