Looking for a " Kidney Specialist " and a good cardiologist
 

I moved here not that long ago . I need to find a " Kidney Specialist " and also a good cardiologist if anyone could offer their recommendations.

I do not mind driving out of the area North or South of the Villages to find the right providers .

My husband & I would both recommend Dr. Asad Qamar, Institute of Cardiovascular Excellence. They have an office at Laurel Manor at 352-509-9295. Their website is ICE - Institute of Cardiovascular Excellence

Dr Couturier is the best according to the hospital staff.

Dr Couturier is excellent, and the attending staff as well!

Another vote for Dr. Couturier or his partner, Dr. Shams. Both are wonderful docs.

I would also highly recommend Dr Shams at the Heart of the Villages. Conveniently located in Spanish Springs, very easy to get there and a very competent support staff too. I had to have an electrocardioversion which Dr. Shams performed at the Villages Hospital and the experience was very positive. Best of luck.
