Friday 13th - no big deal.

Remember to get over to the Savannah Center today for the recreation department's Music Lover's Showcase. Great music all day long from 9:00 am until 5:30 pm.

And in a bit of shameless self promotion, I'd like to point that I will be appearing twice. Once at 12:30 with Vinyl Recall and again at 4:30 with the Beatlemaniacs of the Villages.

never a good day at work...on friday the 13th.....just like no 13th floor or 13th room...so here's hoping

13 is just a number. We make our own luck.

We were married in the 13th (Saturday) 45 years ago. We don't believe in "lucky" numbers, but 13 has always been special to us and is "our" number.

My first child was born on Friday the 13th! Always been a lucky date for me!

And my husband is retiring on December 13th after 32 years with the same company.

And yes, it's on a Friday! Oh what a great day that will be.

13 is in my life in several ways. The house number for the house built by my parents in 1964 that my dad still lives in is 1113. When I attended Loyola University in Chicago, I lived on the 13th floor of my dormitory for 2 years. My youngest sister and her husband got married on June 13, 1998.

Friday the 13th is a good day for me because TGIF (that is for those of us who still work full time). As an added bonus, Friday afternoons are usually blessedly quiet at my office because about 80% of the employees at my company (but not me) only work half days on Friday.

Today's the 14th so I think I missed all the fun.

I never mentioned it yesterday, but it was our anniversary also, and also a Saturday, but only 33 years. We always pick the number whenever possible. We used to sit in booth 13 at one of our favorite restaurants. When the lockers were assigned, where I used to work, I asked for number 13.

Also, I don't know if anyone knew it or not, but September 13th is National Blame Someone Else Day. It never was my fault!!
