Having surgery soon

Going to have a double mastectomy soon and looking for advice from those who have gone through one. What is the best thing to wear after recovery, any prep to do before surgery, etc...any helpful hints would be great!

Got to get better so I can get back on the golf course with the hubby.....

You are not alone. Coffee is on.

There are so many of us healthy survivors here. I have sent you a P.M.

I love your attitude and suggest you wear lots of hugs from that hubby. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Prayers for a successful surgery, a complete and speedy recovery, and a quick return to doing what you love to do...

Thanks all for your kind wishes.

I am VERY blessed to have a great husband, family and friends who are there for support. Hoping they caught it in time and all will be OK.

Guess I will just treat it like the original equipment has been recalled and it is time to get them fixed!

My sister had the same and is doing amazing. Took about one year for the reconstruction afterwards. She was strong throughout and you would never know by her spirit what she was feeling inside. Sometimes it's not so good to be that strong and hold it together but she has a young family. Feel sad when you need to and cry when you need to. You seem to have an amazing spirit and I will pray for you to continue to heal and be well. There are many wonderful people in The Villages who are there for you !!
