Whirlpool Oven problem
 

My whirlpool oven crashed when I tried to have it self-clean. The man who came to fix it says this happens frequently. I am waiting for a new part, but wondered if others have had similar difficulties. It distresses me that The Villages would promote such a product.
Now here it is a few weeks later. They "fixed" my oven and now when I was roasting a chicken the other night, the oven AGAIN stopped working. This is an oven I have used maybe a dozen times since May. It is outrageous to me that I should have to put up with a dysfunctional oven that is less than a year old. Anyone else having this issues? The service man from Field Appliances said he would put in a report to Whirlpool on my behalf asking for a replacement oven, but that he doubted they would do it.
