What to do on a rainy day in TV
 

I asked the kids this morning what they think a retiree should do on a rainy day in TV and this is what my son-in-law said?


Good day for haircutting.

Clean BEHIND the toilet.

Go outside and sing in the rain.

Staring contests all day.

Any other suggestions???

Enjoy every minute 'cause the dry season is right around the corner - love rainy days in The Villages or anywhere else for that matter!

If I can make myself - I will get into the closets and throw out stuff I have had forever and will never wear again, but (on the other hand) I might just cook something fattening.:mmmm:

Read a good book

play golf - you can hit practice balls...

Go to the town square and dance since you will have plenty of dance floor space.

1. park car outside
2. wait half hour
3. put on swimsuit
4. scrub lovebugs off car

catch up reading TOTV

Go to a movie. Movies start as early as 10:10 am today
Play billiards at a rec center or check out other inside activities at rec centers
Go eat somewhere you haven't eaten before
Go bowling at one of the two 32 Lane bowling alleys
Visit a neighbor especially if they live alone
Go shopping somewhere you haven't been to before
Get on the phone with a friend or relative that you haven't communicated with in a long time
If you don't read much this would be a great time to start a new book
Turn the tv off and write down all the things you are thankful for

Is sex on rainy days something we don't do anymore?
