What's your place to unwind ?
 

Where I live now I have a special place to be alone and get my thoughts together. It's about 5 miles from where I live and it's on the north shore of Long Island and there's a mile and 1/2 boardwalk. It's very beautiful and quiet during certain time of the day. It just so relaxing when I need to unwind and get away from it all. I will have to find a place like that when I get down there in a few weeks. I'm not that familiar with The Villages yet but I'm sure there are some great spots where there is some quiet.

So what's your special place in The Villages to have serenity and alone time ?

My lanai

The Polo Grounds!! The back side away from the traffic noise on BV Blvd. A nice bottle of wine, some cheese and crackers and sitting in the shade under a tree with my Kindle :)

As you travel south on the cart path on Morse approaching the bridge going into Lake Sumter Landing there is a spot to pull off and face West overlooking the lake. Right at sunset it can be a very tranquil spot even though there is automobile traffic nearby.

You won't be alone because it is a very popular spot, but the sunsets can be beautiful.

Unwind? I'm retired, I'm in a constant state of unwind.

Exactly, favorite place...wherever I'm at, at the time.

Left my stress behind when I came here ............... Everywhere I am in TV is heaven to me.

Oh I can't wait until I can answer this question like this.

Absolutely :) When I retired almost 4 years ago, I put my wristwatch in my dresser and haven't worn it since. If I am curious what time it is, I will glance over at my cell phone. I am on Georgie Time and will get there when I get there!!

and he feels like The Villages is a giant resort! He loved T.V.
