ATM Machine

I went to the ATM at the Duval postal station today and they wanted $3.00 for the transaction. I have been using the machine there for 4 years with no charge. My non-Citizens card uses the "Money-Pass network. Evidently this is the only Citizens machine not on the "Money-pass" network. I do not like to pay fees so I went to Publix to get the cash. Does anyone know if Citizens is changing their network?

There was a letter in with my last CFB statement that said that on 10/7 they were discontinuing their relationship with the MoneyPass ATM network.

I gave up on ATM cards with assigned networks. Seems every time I found a bunch of convenient ATM's they would change providers. I opened an account at Schwab in LSL. I can do everything online, never have to go there. And there ATM card reimburses you for every ATM fee across the globe. Use it in any ATM anywhere and never pay a fee again. And there checking online bill pay is one of the best I have used.

I use the Schwab debit card as well, because they reimburse the ATM charges, like you say, all over the globe. Fabulous service. I've been a Schwab customer for probably 25 years.

If Schwab takes care of the $3.00 Citizen's charges I will use my Schwab debit card at the Citizen's ATMs.

That should work.

Wow, you just debit from a Schwab account? That's pretty cool. You basically have a bank account at Schwab?

l2ridehd 10-01-2013 02:20 PM

Correct. It works just like any other checking account. I have a Schwab brokerage account, but not sure if that is required for the their Investor checking account. But still they reimburse all ATM fees.

And yes I just use the Schwab cash card at The Citizens ATMs at the postal centers. It asks the question and says the $3 fee, but then Schwab just gives me a credit for the $3 charge. So any ATM is available for you with no fee.

murphy gas

I use the atm at Murphy Gas on 466 across from Walmart which doesn't charge a fee.

Moneypass ATM

I was also using the mail stop ATM's and was on Moneypass from my bank in Minnesota. I went to the bank website and it told me to go to the nearest Citizens Bank ATM for me which was the one at Colony Plaza and now no fees, just a little longer cart ride.
