Any of them are good but if you do the groundwork yourself you will end up happier. Decide how much you want to spend, how big a house you want and where you want to be.
We knew we wanted a Lantana, and a new one. There was only one place at the time that they were building. We fell in love with a Camellia and called our rep and told him we wanted to buy it. We went around and looked at NEW homes for sale, even if we couldn't get in them. We had done a lot of homework on different style homes and had a pretty good idea what they were selling for.
Jim McLaughlin had little to do the first time, but the second time he showed us new and resales equally and we ended up building. He is a gentle, honest man, of villages age, who is living in his sixth home here in The Villages. He and his wife Patti who is behind the scenes are a great team.
