Status on Southern Lifestyles
 

My husband and I just got here from Michigan. Our CYV was furnished by Southern LS and Showcase Direct. We are wondering if both these stores have closed? I'm looking for an extra piece for a bedroom and am hoping they are still open. We were getting conflicting dates before we came down.

It has been reported the stores are closed and brown paper is over the windows. New store to open mid November.

Drove by Showcase Direct yesterday and the store is no more - signage gone too.

If you know the name of the company that made your furniture, you can do an internet search, find out where they are and contact them directly. Their furniture line maybe in other stores local to us.

Just stopped in Southern Lifestyles on Canal Street this morning. They are still open for business.

We asked about the warranties we have on our furniture. Was told not to worry. The receptionist gave us a card for the Customer Care Department, which is located in Wildwood.

My rep from Direct Showcase called me and told me the two chairs I had ordered should be delivered in the next couple of weeks. She also told me that all warranties would be honored since they were covered by an outside company. She also told me she has a job with the new company City Furniture.

was in Southern Lifestyles on Sunday. They are still taking orders for furniture that won't be delivered until after they close. I asked if they were going to have a floor sample clearance sale like Showcase Direct and the salesman didn't know.
I stumbled upon Showcase Direct as it was having it's sale. Stuff was flying out of there. I got a great deal on an all leather recliner, but wish I had got there sooner.

Had a loveseat delivered this morning. According to the guys, Southern Lifestyles is closing next week. He said some people are applying for jobs at the new store while others are moving on.
