New Construction next to Freedom Point
 

Anyone know what is being built on the lot next to Freedom Point? Looks like a major project.

It's probably going to be a nursing home. As far as I know, they don't have one yet at that location and that would round things out.

They said they were going to build an addition to the Sharon Morse Hospital as soon as they had finished The Charter Middle School.

It could be that.

Hospital facility is what I heard. Just wondered if anyone knew any more.

It looks big, whatever it is.

I was told that they were planning an assisted living and a memory care building because the 2 original buildings taken over by Brookdale were not large enough to accommodate future growth.

I believe it is Assisted Living and Memory Care, not buy in, it was in the plan.

It is an Assisted Living Facility. I worked for Brookdale last year (Freedom Pointe Rehab). They are breaking ground and expect to open Fall 2014. They might make some adjustments to what is already there.

There is a large several story building Freedom Pointe (that is an Independent Living). They have a small building known as Homewood (assisted living), a memory care building (Clairebridge) and a 72 bed Rehab facility known as Freedom Pointe Rehab. The memory care, assisted living and Rehab building all share the same parking lot and entrance if that helps!
