Ambassador at El Santiago this morning.

Our couples group played at El Santiago this morning and when we arrived at the course our NEW tire was flat on our cart. The ambassador and the starter came up to us and said, Take my cart, it is a four seater like yours, (We had Helene with us as a spectator) and I will try to find an air compressor to blow up your tire.

We were on the fourth hole and he rode up to us and said that he found an air compressor and it had enough to just inflate the tire. We thanked him profusely.

He came up to us on nine to tell us that the tire was holding. We gave him back his cart and tried to thank him.

Just wanted you to know that he did all of this out of the kindness of his heart and we three G's are GREATLY appreciative.

I know I have said this before, but I love this place and I especially love the people. I can't remember his name but he is from Louisville, Ky.

Nice to hear that! The Ambassadors are trained to be of help and love doing what they do! I know because my hubby is one and loves his job!

My husband also is a Golf Ambassador. There is a lot of orientation and training that is involved. They really focus on dealing with the public in a manner that is pleasant as well as professional.

Seem like the perfect opportunity to write a letter to the golf pro and tell him how great you were treated ---- with the whole Name of the ambassador that helped you out --- I am sure some people would write a letter of complaint when not totally with the service with the persons full name ---- I have and will continue to phone and write to the supervisor of someone who goes out of his or her way to make my day a better day --- I am so sorry you forgot to get his name after all the help he gave you !!! Sometimes we forget the good thing people do for us and remember the bad thing

What if I got his name and already did just that? What if posting someone's name on this forum is thought twice about by me?. Unfortunately, frequent posters, like me, gain enemies and those anonymous enemies do some troubling things.

Gracie, Confrontational Contrarians derive sustenance through judgemental juxtaposition of otherwise civil discourse.:mornincoffee:

I saw the title of the original posting and thought, here is another thread bashing people who are doing their best while "stuck between a rock and a hard place." I was glad to see Gracie's post when I opened it, and her sharing such a positive experience with the forum. I would bet that she followed up appropriately. :)

I too always make it a point to provide positive feedback when it is earned, to the person and to the person's leader/manager.

He sounds like a great guy who was raised right who knows how to assist a damsel in distress.

I however would like to go on the record as stating that as a "TV wannabe", Gracie, YOU are my TV & TOTV Ambassador! :clap2:

Almost every time I go on TOTV, I find either an insightful post or one that makes me smile or gives some kind of info that those of us outside the bubble just don't get where we are currently living. It could be anything that those of you inside the bubble experience on a daily basis that those of us still in waiting love to read about.

Thank you for all your words, as they help some of us cope with life until we can join the party!

I can't imagine anyone doing "troubling things" to you Gracie. Obviously, they don't know you. However. I know for a fact sometimes "things" happen when folks disagree with you.

What a nice Ambassador! Atta Boy!
