We LOVED this dr. He spent a lot of time with us and we never felt rushed.
Very knowledgeable and has a nice personality too, which you can't say about a lot of doctors. Online his bio says he was previously employed at Harvard Medical School and Mass Gen Hospital. This year he opened his own practice here.
I highly recommend this doctor.

I saw Dr Cruz recently at the recommendation of others here on TOTV. I am very pleased with him and would highly recommend him.

Very Happy with Villages Health Care Colony Center. My wife and I use Dr. Hocutt and Dr. Noel .

Agree! IMO best step would be to sign up with Villages health.

For those of us who are not 65, The Villages Health Care does not accept all insurances. We have really good insurance through Aetna and they do not accept it.

We also have Aetna through or employer but there are not many here who accept it. We have great insurance but few choices. We would love to try Village Health Care but they do not take Aetna.

Staff is honest ( refunded a checkmto us for overpayment that we had NOT noticed) and yes, great personality.

Sumter, Lake and Marion counties are considered "Extended Service Areas" by Aetna. If you have the Aetna Medicare PPO, any doctor that accepts Medicare will be paid at the in network rate.

Had an appointment with Dr. Cruz today...
 

GREAT guy, highly recommend, very caring! He even took the time to talk to my husband in the waiting room....I know that anyone that goes to him will be very pleased!

SOOO glad you liked him. I just think he is awesome!
He has just this year gone out on his own to a separate practice. I hope others will give him a try as he is building up his practice, and he is so wonderful.
