Lanai expansion questions
 

We have...

An expanded lanai on a Whispering Pine. I believe it is 2 feet deeper than the original plan.

We are considering expanding the same footprint size directly out from the exiting lanai and covering it, the expanded part, with a birdcage.

We have no need for a pool at this time.

The hose is on the opposite side of our home from the existing door from the lanai to outdoors, so, I would like them to build a pass-through.

QUESTIONS:
What else should we consider?
What do you wish you would have done when you expanded?
What are you glad you thought of when you expanded?
What would you have done differently?
