Anyone else having trouble w their comcast email this morning? Internet is OK. Don t feel like calling them cause I don t hv two hours to spare now

Yes i have, and a friend too.

I have a MiFi hotspot i use in case i really need
to connect.

Over the years they have a day or two of connecting problems, and i am aware, but its still the better internet cable service. Its good today :BigApplause:

you don't have to call them use their 'live chat' ive always had great results with it.

how can you use their live chat if you can't get online?

Comcast email settings
 

My Comcast email on my MAC stopped working over the weekend - it still worked for my iPhone. Turns out that my email settings somehow didn't work anymore... after making the recommended changes - everything is working!

The Comcast website @ Using Email Client Programs with Comcast Email
recommends the following

Incoming Mail Server - Name: mail.comcast.net
Incoming Mail Server - Port Number: 995 (POP3)
Outgoing Mail Server - Name: smtp.comcast.net
Outgoing Mail Server - Port Number: 465 (SMTP)
SSL Encryption: checked
Authentication: Comcast ID and Password required

Note: if your not comfortable with tweaking your computer settings then call Comcast!
