Villages Health Care back-office nightmare
First, let me praise the treatment, consideration and response I get from the health care professionals there (Colony location). But dealing with the office that handles their billing is another story entirely. Bills I have received are inaccurate. Payments I've made are not recognized and, as far as I can tell, aren't deducted from balances. Phone calls typically go directly to voice-mail, and call-backs are not received. On the one occasion when I actually spoke with a living person, she admitted their billing system is a mess.
It seems like they are not geared to handle the large and growing patient base. Am I the only one experiencing this kind of frustration? |
Some of the same issues initially but getting better. Sometimes it works better to go in and talk to someone. I have been pleased with them in the last 3 months. Remember it is a new system and business and needs to work out the kinks.

I have had issues on the billing side. It does take awhile to get in touch with someone. All issues did eventually get resolved. Growing pains.

Took me over 7 months to get mine straight. What a nightmare!

Does anyone know if the coding system is publicly online so we can check what is actually being billed by the docs.
