Charity Group

My wife and I (and possibly son) would like to get involved in some charity work. We've only been in TV for a short while and really don't where to look. We like veteran-related charities but will consider any worthy cause.

Can anybody tell us where might be some good general sources of related information?

I think that either The Daily Sun or the Recreation news has a section that shows you where you can volunteer.

I know the candy stripers or their equivilant at the Villages Hospital are helpful sweet people.

I bet the VA hospital has a similar group of volunteers.

Veteran's Group

Come join our group: USA Cares. We raise money for post 9/11 vets. We are rated as a "Best Charity". It is a national organization, but we have the largest and first Florida Chapter.

We meet the 2nd Friday of each month at 9 am at Laurel Manor.

Around the holidays specifically, my family family does a food pantry.
It is all Christ-based.
Love to have you.
