-2 Celcius here in Alberta today (28 F) forecast for about 1" of snow tomorrow.

My wife retires 5 weeks from today, we are sticking around for Christmas then hitting the road January 1st. It is a 4 day drive from Alberta. Two days to get through the snow belt, then we start shedding clothes!

And yet, people there who've never even been here insist with "Florida's too hot and nothing but bugs and humidity".

They have no idea what they're missing.

After a wonderful 8 days in The Villages, my blood must have gotten thin. It has not been easy getting used to driving to work this past week with the morning drive temps. at 30 degrees. Today Chicago broke 50 degrees for the first time in 5 days, yippee. Wish I was back in TV. Enjoy your 73 degree temps. you lucky Villagers!
