Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch Thrift Stores
 

Now that the trucks have pulled out of The Villages from this past weekend from The Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch Opportunity/Thrift Stores and they had another huge response for donates from villagers, I just wanted to let all of you thrift store shoppers know that their new thrift store will be opening next Friday, November 1, 2013 in Leesburg. You take 27/441 south, stay on 27 at the split and it is on the left about 4 to 5 miles down. I had the opportunity to see the new store yesterday and it is going to be very nice. Just wanted to let all of you thrift store shoppers know about this new store.

We had a call over the weekend from Salvation Army, which said they would be picking up clothing, this Wednesday, and to leave it out in a bag, next to your garage for pickup. I assume it's legitimate?

That call doesn't sound legit to me - if you leave it next to your garbage, it will be picked up as garbage.

Cool! Love to shop (and give) to thrift stores..... seems like I buy, then donate, then buy again. ( no, not the same stuff over and over!:laugh:)

anybody can go by and pick up anything set out on the curb. It's legit.

No, they actually said to leave it against your garage!!
