Heating System and Thermostat

I was told that at our walk through (11/25) I will need to set up an appointment for heating system and thermostat training. Seems a bit much but maybe there's more to programming this system than I would expect.

We have a new Designer Begonia in Pinellas and I remember that the thermostat looks like a touch screen.

Can anyone who has a similar fairly new Designer home please give me the model of the thermostat? I'm assuming I'll be able to find an instruction manual online.

Thanks!

Just go in the garage open the door to the air handler, there will be a complete book hanging there, it's simple to program.

But do the walk thru when you have time with the a/c installer, he will tell you where to clean the drip line and how to change the filter.....

I won't be there until 11/25 and am trying to get a head start.

That's why I'm asking if anyone knows the model number.

It's called the Carrier "EDGE". By the way there were no instruction manuals for my thermostat or sprinkler system. The were brought over when I had the demos.

I would suggest the demos, especially for the sprinklers. At that time, they check the heads etc. Mine had a broken head that was spewing a lot of water. They fixed it on the spot. The warranty on the irrigation is only 30 days (I think)

They do encourage you to buy a maintenance contract, but they are not pushy.

That's what I needed, thanks!
