Watch your Shell Gas Cards bought at Publix
 

We have been buying the Shell gas cards when Publix carries them on their special, buy $50 card for $40. This time we filled our tank up and used around $40 worth. When we tried to use it two weeks later the remaining $10 was gone. The card was empty. So we called and complained to Shell and they are sending us another card with $10 on it. They told us that they have been having a problem with their gift cards bought at Publix. We keep our receipts until the card is used up and plus we didn't buy gas in Lutz, FL. I always wondered what happened when the money disappears. We will keep buying the cards until a bigger problem happens as it is a good deal.

Just warning you to beware and keep track of those cards.
