If there was a Wallensak Juke Box in TV what song will you put a nickel in to listen and why? I will put a nickel in to listen to Pat Boone's Love Letter in the Sand. As we were approaching San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, the silence of radio suddenly came alive with a DJ from Galveston, Texas who started playing this song. After 14 days on the sea, this was the first "sighting" of land. It was around 6:30 a.m. in July 1957. Loved the song ever since.
