Wed Nov 6 meet and greet gathering
 

We have a lot of new singles....welcome!
As cha3 proposed, a gathering of singles Weds, nov 6 at the LSL porch (square side of the sales ctr) at 7. This isn't a club, it's a bunch of us lovable singles meeting each other in a small group.
It is working out so well to get to know each other this way, oohrah! I'm going to come hungry, so I hope some of you are ready to go to dinner.

just bumping this since i don't know if the newbies will click on the word Singles on the left to see all the other posts! i did not know that for a while! if you want to laugh, i am a very intelligent woman who speaks three languages, but i have had my little toyota for exactly five years and only realized sunday that i could play cd's above my radio! so i must be tolerant for those who don't yet know all our abbreviations etc. :)
LSL means Lake Sumter Landing, pm means private message, etc.... it's a new world!

NO!!! the sales center front porch in LSL at 7 pm! will try to save a few seats and sofas so we can all make a nice circle and enjoy the chat!

I may try to come for a little while. One of my dogs is recovering from eye surgery and needs drops every two hours plus I hate to leave her alone but I can use a break

two newbies besides jackie were bob from long island and karen from rochester, ny...in addition we had me, dan, joe, ron and cale! men 5 women 3!!! i like those odds :) we chatted happily and then some of us went to the waterfront. dog owners had to retreat to take care of puppies :) it was a nice evening.

yes, it was very relaxing. weather was great, music in the background, nice group, good conversation. great way for someone to get out for a little while (me who had to attend to sick dog) and for others as a prelude to their later activities.

Better than the 10 to one ratio of women to men of legend?

I didn't get to make it either. I'll check in more so I don't miss the fun.

I think it would be nice to do more often....just a chat session where people can come for a short while, or go onto something else after. We were there at 7pm and stayed about an hour....very relaxing and good conversation.
