T mobile

Does anyone have TMOBILE SERVICE in the Villages. I am planning to buy a NO Contract phone and both TMobile & ATT have them

How is the service in the Villages? Any comments will be most appreciated.

I have t-mobile and have had it since it became available a long time ago! I do not use a 3g/4g or a smart phone and have not had any problems with service. I use the phone up/down I-95 with extensive use in new england, new jersey and the carolinas without any inconvenience.

Look into aiowireless.com. We found out about them on Consumer reports. No contract. Owned by ATT and uses their towers.

We both have tmobile. I have a contract phone and my wife a pay as you go. They both work great in the Villages. The biggest advantage to the tmobile pay as you go is that there is no daily charge. Many other providers charge a $1 or $50 everyday you use the phone even if only making 1 call. No so with Tmobile. You only pay for airtime. It is also free to other tmobile customers. Their service people constantly rate No 1.

Awful at best

I had TMOBILE for 6 months and it was awful at best. We live in Village of Caroline and it was very very unreliable and also very bad in other location in the Villages. I got rid of it and went with AT&T which is significant better.
BTW going up I95 it worked ok but once we got in Endicott NY it was again unusable.

One of the things to look at is just what type of phone will you be using. Some of the no contract plans have you buy the phone up front and then just pay a monthly fee.

I have a Virgin Mobile plan and wanted a smart phone so I went with their no contract plan. I bought an Apple iPhone 4S (16g) for $385.00 and pay $30.00 a month for service. Now you get 300 minutes per month and I will never use up that many minutes.

In the cell phone business you either sign up for a contract plan which you are paying for the phone over a 2 year period with interest but it is not called interest but really is. Or you can pay for the phone up front and then a monthly service charge to use the phone service. The industry would have a fit if they had to disclose the interest rate they are charging for their phones.

Hope everything else is well with the family.
