Cardiologist referral needed

We need a local cardiologist and would appreciate your recommendations. Does anyone have any infor about Dr. Abel Rivero with Citrus Cardiology? Thanks for your help.

Don't Know Him but...

At the Villages Hospital Dr. Georg Courtierer is thought to be a superlative doctor. He is the only one I would go to.

I am very impressed with the Doctors and office staff at citrus cardiology. It is a very caring and professional staff and the Drs genuinely care about their patients. I would recommended their facility in Lake Sumter.

I use Dr Hurt. Office across the street from Villages hospital, next to new United HC doctors offices. He saved my life. Treats you like a family member, even after 6 years.

My husband and I both have cardiologists. After being dissatisfied with two others we have recently become patients of Dr Coutourier at Heart of Villages and are VERY satisfied!

Dr. Couturier. French name, but he is from Germany.

Your might want to call Florida Cardiovascular Specialists. They're across 441/27 from The Villages Hospital. Doctor Hector Garcia and Doctor Nitzi Alvarez got me through a serious Atrial-Fibrillation incident this past summer including a cardioversion to reboot my heart and get it back to a normal rhythm. I'm fine now thanks to the two of them.

I also go to Citrus Cardiology but I see Dr. Miryala. He is excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Dr Hector Garcia, both my wife and I have gone to him for the past 13 years. A very caring and listening Doctor.

Doctor C is from the Alsace Lorraine area and they kept going back and forth between Germany and France. He said if he was 10 years older he would have been French. In addition to being a great doctor, he is a totally pleasant individual. I recommend him highly. When I asked for a referral from the people at Villages hospital, he won hands down.

I see Dr. Rivero and thought he was through and pleasant. They have a great Coumadin clinic if that applies to you! Highly recommend them.

My wife uses him and I'll probably switch to him myself. The problem with many doctors today is they are from all over the world and have an accent that is hard for me to understand. Understanding your doctor is critical in order to get the instructions straight. Dr Miryala is easy to understand, calm, and very caring.

Thanks for the input. My husband was recently in The Villages hospital and was treated by Dr. Rivera of Citrus Cardiology. We have decided to give him a try. However, we are staunch fans of the cardiac surgeons at Munroe Hospital in Ocala. We have had several invasive procedures done there and they are just great. Just wish it was closer. But no way would I ever have an angiogram or any invasive procedure done where there is not a cardiac surgery unit
I must say that our recent experience at TV was a very positive one. From past experience, they are improving and the food was very good!
